Therapy Style & Values. I see therapy and assessment as an opportunity to instill hope, promote a client’s strengths and personal autonomy (agency). I work collaboratively with each client, so they can better understand themself, their experiences, the values they wish to live by, and the tools they can use to overcome challenges along the way.

I strive to create a therapeutic space that is welcoming, warm, and affirming for every client, so every individual feels safe showing up as their true self. Clients can learn more about my therapy style and the different modalities that I use on my ‘Therapy Services’ page.

Training & Education. I earned a master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling before earning my doctorate from the APA-accredited Clinical Psychology program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Over the course of my training, I gained a wealth of experience conducting psychotherapy and assessment with youth and adults from diverse backgrounds. My clinical and training experiences spanned private practice, integrative care and outpatient clinics, university counseling centers, community mental health settings, the Dallas County Juvenile Justice Center, and inpatient consult services.

Outside of the Office. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with family and close friends, gardening, cooking, and spending time outdoors when the Texas weather permits.
